Jessie Marie Davis

Last week it was reported that Jessie Marie Davis, an Ohio woman who was 9 months pregnant and had a two year old son, was missing. Her mother, after receiving no response from Jessie on the telephone, went to Jessie's house and found her son at home alone, and amongst other things, two year old Blake said "Mommy's in the rug".

Police questioned her boyfriend and father of her children, Bobby Cutts Jr, searching his house for a missing quilt and cell phone. Earlier this week police found her body about 25 miles from her home. Bobby Cutts Jr has been charged with two counts of murder.

It brings back memories of the Laci Peterson case.

My question, along with many other people, is why? Cutts was married, but separated. His ex-wife claimed to not wish Jessie any harm. What motivation could there have possibly have been for this despicable act? Why do it in front of your infant son? I sincerely hope that Blake does not remember what he has seen.

If you want to break up with someone, break up with them, don't kill them. Don't kill your baby before she even has a chance to live.
